This is more than arriving somewhere, smiling for a camera and leaving with a collection of digital files.

Your experience begins with a conversation. We’ll talk about who you are, what you want these portraits to express, who you would like beside you and where your story should be photographed. Together, we’ll consider your location, wardrobe, meaningful objects, styling and the finished artwork you might want to display in your home.

When portrait day arrives, my team and I will come to your home or another location chosen for its beauty or meaning. We bring the equipment, creative direction and support needed to transform that space into something extraordinary.

You do not need to know how to pose, what to do with your hands or how to look “natural.” That is our job. We will guide you through expressions, movement and positioning while paying attention to your comfort, energy and individuality. There is room to pause, change direction, laugh, rest and try something unexpected.

Our team will be there to help with the details throughout the experience, including wardrobe adjustments and hair touch-ups. This is not about disguising you or transforming you into someone else. It is about creating the support that allows you to feel confident, cared for and fully present.

We will create a variety of artfully directed portraits with the beauty and visual impact of something that could belong in a gallery or on a magazine cover. Your session may celebrate one person or include up to six people who are part of your story. Couples, families, friends, caregivers and other meaningful relationships are welcome. Larger groups may be accommodated for an additional investment.

Your selected portraits will receive careful, professional retouching. We will soften temporary distractions, address flyaways and shine and polish each image without removing the character, expression and beautiful humanity that make it yours.

When your portraits are ready, we will come to you for a private reveal. You’ll experience the photographs together, choose your favorites and receive guidance on placement, size, framing and custom finishes so your artwork truly belongs in your home.

Every Show Up Anyway experience includes a finished piece of wall art. Additional custom artwork and portrait products may also be available, depending on the story we create together.
